Lindsay Kagawa


Lindsay leads BDA's Women's Elite division, handling the representation and management of BDA's WNBA players while supplementing BDA's NBA player focus with an emphasis on events, charitable giving and special projects. Upon joining BDA, Lindsay spearheaded the founding of BDAgiving, BDA's charitable arm – the first of its kind in the field of athlete representation.

Upon completion of her Master in Arts degree in Sociology with a focus in Organizational Studies at Stanford University, Lindsay was awarded the Stanford Haas Center for Public Service Sand Hill Fellowship where in her time as a Fellow at the East Bay Community Foundation, her work focused on marketing, research and charitable giving for professional athletes and high net worth individuals. As a part of her graduate work at Stanford, Lindsay teamed with the athletic directors to establish SAKU (Stanford Athletes & Kids United) an intensive and specialized mentoring and tutoring program for East Palo Alto Youth and Stanford Student-Athletes.

Lindsay received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Stanford where she was an All-District 8 performer and two-year captain of the Women's Volleyball Team that during her tenure, appeared in two National Championship matches, winning an NCAA title in 1997.

Lindsay is originally from Albany, CA and attended Albany High School where in April 2008, both she and her father Doug, a coach for over 30 years in East Bay high school basketball were recently inducted into the Albany High School Hall of Fame. She currently resides in Oakland, CA.

Recently, Lindsay signed Sylvia Fowles and Candice Wiggins in this year¹s
WNBA draft.
